What You’ll Do
As a Technical Project Manager at Burwood, you will be responsible for full lifecycle management of key projects and programs within multiple client accounts focusing on quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will ensure adherence to industry-wide and Burwood-specific best practices, to ‘best-in-class’ delivery quality, and to proactive management of project profitability. You will support and champion broader engagement within select enterprise accounts to expand the impact of project outcomes, to grow customer relationships, and to encourage future business. You ‘walk the walk’ for your PMO and Professional Services peers, modeling a relentless commitment to elite, thorough, and intuitive program management and consulting skills.
Project and Account Leadership
- Serves as a natural and formal leader within active, affiliated client accounts
- Executes project management and consulting functions in a skilled fashion, driving profitability of Burwood’s IT project portfolio, ensuring top-notch quality, and driving client satisfaction within the affiliated customer base.
- Exemplifies ‘fundamental/101’ and ‘201’ delivery standards and best practices.
- Collaborates with internal and client project teams to build and maintain a milestone- and value-based execution plan; drives completion of execution plan by holding project teams accountable professionally and effectively.
- Develops a ‘Trusted Advisor’ reputation and relationship with clients through sound and reliable delivery, proactive and responsive communication, and team-centric leadership.
Team and Company Leadership
- Actively participates in team and organizational meetings, gatherings, and initiatives; eager contributor to company engagement and culture.
- Supports the evolution of PMO-centric solution offerings, marketing material, and services pipeline

You

- are located near Carle’s operations (e.g., Peoria, Champaign, Bloomington, Dunlap) or are willing to relocate, and you are available for regular travel to client sites, maintaining a balance between client engagement and work-life priorities. The
Tech Stuff You
- have (5) or more years of project management experience, leading technical (infrastructure or cloud-based) and advisory projects You
- are preferably versed in managing work in both Waterfall and Agile delivery frameworks You
- have at least one Project Management-centric certification, preferably PMP or CSM Nice
To Haves: You
- have experience managing or supporting initiatives anchored in merger and acquisition cycles Stro
- ng understanding of Network, Cloud, and Collaboration/Voice technologies, with experience managing projects in these domains. You
- have experience managing or supporting initiatives within the Healthcare vertical, including large-scale IT implementations. Expe

Compensation packages at Burwood Group are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including work location, skillset, experience, qualifications, market conditions, and other job-related reasons. The estimated salary range for this role is $90,000 to $130,000. This role may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. Sales roles have an additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement.
