What you get to do:
- Coordinate reservation and check-in processes for all Education programs, including field trips, sleepovers, summer camps, VIP Tours, and premium guest experiences.
- Distribute and process all registration forms associated with Education Programs.
- Create and modify reservations utilizing multiple SEA systems.
- Produce mailing lists from the reservations system as needed.
- Utilize excellent communication and guest service skills (both oral and written) when interacting with Education Program guests, camp parents, and teachers.
- Staff Guest Service positions and process payment for guest experiences as needed.
- Record and pull reports from the Global Reservation System.
- Completed additional projects as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record and proof of insurance.
- Able to meet company driving guidelines.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel and the ability to learn SEA reservation systems.
- Able to work up to 28 hours per week with a flexible schedule, to include shifts on weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Cash handling skills preferred
- Previous guest service experience preferred
What else is important:
- Able to stand and walk for an entire shift.
- Able to work indoors and outdoors, in varying weather, to include extreme heat. Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, and cold/heat temperature extremes
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing and climb/ascend heights. Climb ladders up to 6' and ascend stairways and reach above shoulders.
- Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, bending, squatting, bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing).
- Able to lift, push and pull 25 pounds
- Available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid, closing shifts and holidays.
