POSITION SUMMARY
The Procurement Manager-Indirect Material will be responsible for managing and developing vendor sourcing strategies, monitoring vendor performance, optimizing company supplier spending and business continuity planning for all indirect spend in their category. Negotiates strategic long term goals and plans with our major suppliers in order to reduce cost, maximize inventory turns, shorten lead-times and increase efficiency in the business. This position will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to identify company requirements and provide cost competitive solutions.

- Coordinate with all the departments to lead and/or execute sourcing projects and manage Procurement for Goods and Services.
- Assist the business manage inventory levels in order to maximize company resources, optimize assets, and decrease costs
- Lead negotiations of procured materials and services to assure optimal TCO (Cost, Quality, Delivery, Innovation) achieved
- Initiate and analyze RFI/RFPs
- Aids in the development of Supply Agreements and develops strategic pricing, inventory, and delivery plans with major suppliers
- Develops and implements strategies to assure lowest overall cost while mitigating risk to the Company.
- Monitor and conduct audits to verify vendor performance and risk, contract terms compliance, and SLA adherence to ensure supplier meets operations and customer quality, compliance, and operational needs
- Help refine and drive the vision for the procurement function
- Manage preparation, implementation, and execution of procurement processes.
- Manage portfolio of commercial contracts and vendor relationships
- Drive total cost of ownership reduction, through joint process improvements with suppliers
- Performs other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school): Required
Field of Study: Business or Supply Chain Management
Experience: 5 years of purchasing experience of a strategic nature (not tactical) in Indirect Material: Required
Awareness/understanding of legal aspects of business, purchasing, ethics: Preferred
Computer Skills: Moderate to advanced experience in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and V-lookup functions) and Microsoft Word: Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office, prior experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems: Preferred
Certifications & Licenses:
Valid driver's license must be maintained throughout employment at an acceptable level meeting Busch's insurance standards
CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management): Preferred
APICS (American Production and Inventory Control Society) Certifications: Preferred
NLPA (Next Level Purchasing Association) Certification: Preferred
