We are seeking a highly motivated HR / Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the overall success of our organization by managing essential HR functions and ensuring smooth payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Payroll Administration :

Process bi-weekly payroll, including time-off accruals, adjustments, and incentive payments.

Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, tax filings, and reporting.

Maintain employee records and conduct audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Talent Acquisition :

Post job openings and screen applicants.

Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and physical assessments for new hires.

Onboard new employees, providing necessary documentation and orientation.

HR Support :

Provide guidance on company policies and procedures.

Assist with employee relations issues, including performance management and disciplinary actions.

Maintain accurate employee records and conduct regular audits.

DOT Compliance :

Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, including driver qualifications and employment verification.

Requirements

Qualifications :

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in HRIS systems (Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

High school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.) and 2-3 years Human Resources experience including payroll preferred.
