Busch Vacuum Solutions has an immediate direct-hire opportunity open for a Regional Sales Manager for Missouri, Kansas and Southern Illinois! This will be a remote work position, with reasidency ideally in St. Louis, or Kansas City. This position requires up to 75% travel, with majority within the sales region; limited overnight travel required.
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for the management of all sales activities within their assigned geographical territory. This position is responsible for developing and delivering annual sales growth of Busch products and services in compliance with the strategic plan, as outlined by the US Sales Manager.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned sales territory to maintain existing business levels, develop new business for products and service(s), and provide for annual sales growth of Busch products and services.
- Responsible for developing, managing, and training of the sales channels.
- Provide for annual sales growth of Busch products and services.
- Work with all internal departments in support of sales opportunities
- Develop long-term relationships with end users and OEM accounts, both individual and in support of the sales channels
- Maintain account profiles for specified Top Tier accounts.
- Maintain an electronic customer database.
- Develop a yearly target account list for the assigned sales territory.
- Maintain company records and files.
- Maintain, in good working order and physical condition, a company vehicle and other company equipment.
- Utilize expense accounts with prudent judgment.
- A majority of the Regional Sales Manager's time is dedicated to planning, preparing, and conducting face-to-face customer visits.
Required Experience
- 3 years of sales experience: Required
- Vacuum or rotating industrial equipment experience: Highly Preferred
- Knowledge of vacuum pumps and their applications: Required
- Experience with the applicable customer base within the region: Highly Preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree Preferred Field of Study: Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- Computer skills: Intermediate knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software

- A high degree of professional business acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding salesmanship, interpersonal skills, and time management
- Must be customer-oriented and display good decision-making ability.
- Self-driven, organized, and dependable
Job Requirements
- Ability and willingness to pass a 9-panel drug screen and 7-year criminal history check.Most felonies are a disqualifier; misdemeanors are considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Must be willing and able to utilize all required PPE, as needed.
- Must maintain a current valid driver’s license throughout employment.
Physical Requirements
- Constant speaking
- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying/pushing, pulling up to 10lbs
- Occasional reaching above the shoulder, and lifting/carrying/pushing pulling up to 25lbs
