Position Overview:We are seeking a Fluidics Test Engineer to support the development, testing, and validation of fluidic systems for advanced propulsion technologies. This role involves hands-on work with pressurized gas and liquid systems, test apparatus setup, data acquisition, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, assemble, and troubleshoot test stands for propulsion and fluidic systems
- Conduct experiments on pressurized gas flow, propellants, and related subsystems
- Develop and implement test procedures, ensuring data accuracy and reliability
- Analyze test data, generate reports, and provide feedback to design teams
- Work with high-pressure systems, valves, regulators, and instrumentation
- Collaborate with engineers on system integration and performance validation
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and pressurized gas systems
- Hands-on experience with instrumentation, data acquisition, and test setup
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or LabVIEW for data analysis is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Experience:
- Background in propulsion systems or aerospace applications
- Knowledge of vacuum systems and flow control devices
- Familiarity with CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
