We are seeking a motivated and experienced Buyer/Manager to join our dynamic team. This critical role will be responsible for managing procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless production in a fast-paced, high-tech environment. • Procurement Management:
  • Source and purchase materials, components, and services to meet production schedules and project deadlines.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors and suppliers.
  • Identify and qualify new suppliers to enhance supply chain reliability and cost-effectiveness.
• Inventory and Supply Chain Oversight:
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of critical components while minimizing excess stock.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to forecast material requirements and maintain efficient supply chains.
• Cost and Risk Management:
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or timelines.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying vendors and preparing contingency plans.
• Documentation and Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ITAR requirements.
• Team Leadership
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff or procurement specialists.
  • Foster a collaborative and solution-focused environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract administration skills.
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement tools.
• Understanding of ITAR regulations and their impact on procurement.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
