What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Deposit and Treasury Management Quality Control Specialist position at Busey?
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Commercial Deposit and Treasury Management Quality Control Specialist is responsible for the daily processing and maintenance of commercial deposit and cash management services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Complete quality reviews for all new setup and maintenance items for Commercial Deposit Accounts and Cash Management related services.
- Complete ACH review including but not limited to; ACH NACHA violations, ACH return ratio monitoring and ACH limit controls.
- Monitor and identify possible risk and fraudulent activities to both customers and the Bank utilizing monitoring software and reports.
- Maintain all Treasury Management documents
- Maintain the Bank’s analysis billing system.
- Provide backup support to Commercial Deposit and Treasury Management Regional Support teams, including documentation preparation, cash management services setup, maintenance, and training needs for services including but not limited to; ACH processing, business internet banking, business bill pay, sweep accounts, positive pay, monthly and annual CDs, and Remote Deposit Capture.
- Other special projects as directed.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Knowledge of:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Operational workflows and secure file transmissions
- Advanced knowledge of line of business policies, procedures and products

- Multi-task and work independently
- Solve problems independently while applying logic and discretion
- Adapt to change and respond to all requests in a professional manner
- Desire to suggest new approaches to existing procedures within established options to gain efficiencies in department tasks
- Analyze and solve problems for which there are not always precedents
- Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for extended periods of time
- Possess the ability to understand and process multiple types of inquiries in a professional, fast-paced, and high traffic environment
EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Requires 2 years related work experience; previous banking experience preferred.
- Requires strong background working with a variety of PC operating systems and anti-virus software.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Access and Adobe Acrobat.
