Your Role:
As the National Director of Last Mile Sales, you’ll focus on driving growth by acquiring new clients and strengthening relationships within the last-mile logistics sector. You’ll use your expertise in the trucking and logistics industry to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs while achieving ambitious revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify and engage potential clients in need of last-mile delivery solutions.
- Build and nurture long-term customer relationships to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competition.
- Solution Selling:
- Present customized trucking and logistics solutions that address last-mile delivery challenges.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of client solutions.
- Negotiation & Contract Management:
- Prepare compelling proposals, negotiate favorable terms, and close high-value sales contracts.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Monitor and report on sales performance using CRM tools to manage pipelines and analyze data.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven sales experience, preferably in trucking, logistics, or last-mile delivery sectors.
- Strong knowledge of last-mile delivery processes, trends, challenges, and technologies.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Established network within the trucking or logistics industry.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and retail last-mile delivery dynamics.
