What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Worker position at Bushnell Truss?
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, pneumatic repairs, welding, and preventative maintenance in a manufacturing facility.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from employees
- Conduct inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and resolve issues
- Supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors when necessary
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using paper and Computerized Maintenance System
- Fabricate or repair equipment as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a maintenance role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
- Leadership skills to supervise and coordinate the work of external contractors
- Ability to use all types of hand tools
-Vehicle, semi, and trailer servicing.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.
