Job Summary:
The Visit and Event Coordinator position reports to the Dean of Admission. The primary role of the position is to coordinate events for prospective students including individual campus visits, Preview Days, registration events, academic open houses, and scholarship competitions. This position oversees the student ambassador team including our student tour team, lunch hosts, and student callers. In addition, this position supports the division of enrollment’s signature events including divisional meetings, celebrations, and retreats. This position may require the management of a small recruitment territory which would include representing Bushnell at some high school visits and college fairs and communicating with students and families about the Bushnell college experience.
Strong organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple tasks, excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong technical skills are essential to the position. The position requires effective interpersonal skills along with the ability to work both individually and as a part of a team.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support recruitment events for prospective students.
- Plan, coordinate, organize, and administer various events and programs (examples could include campus visit program; the hiring, training, and oversite of student tour guides and/or callers; high school guidance counselor, community college, youth pastor relations).
- Support signature divisional events
- Manage a small recruitment territory and be able to represent Bushnell at recruitment events as applicable (including college fairs, high schools, or community colleges)
- Track and maintain accurate data in the Admissions CRM, Salesforce
- Operate a variety of office equipment such as computers and related software, printers, and copy machines.
- Accept new projects as assigned and be alert to new initiatives that are consistent with the general scope of the position.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience and Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Effective organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and operate effectively within a team environment
- Strong computer skills with a high level of competency using Microsoft software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Higher education experience is preferred

- The position may require lifting up to 25 lbs, as well as bending, stooping, kneeling for the purposes of event set up and organization.
- The position may occasionally require evening and weekend hours.
