We are a family-owned company looking for an organized and driven Corporate Accountant to join our team! The Corporate Accountant will be responsible for financial preparation, management and analysis of accounts and reporting of financials for our company. This position does not require full-time hours. The role can be predominantly work from home once training is completed.

Responsibilities:
- Perform month end close responsibilities including but not limited to: Preparing and booking all journal entries, Managing and recording Fixed Assets and Prepaids and other workpapers, Reconciliations (balance sheet accounts, multiple bank accounts, benefit account, etc.), Performing variance analysis on financial results
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Prepare and present timely financials to leadership team
- Process accounts payables by collecting and verifying documentation, requesting disbursements
- Identify and implement process improvement for financial efficiency
- Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
- Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgeting
- Prepare annual filings for business licensing and insurance policies
- Gather and interpret data to prepare and file monthly, quarterly and annual reports
- Process applicable bi-weekly payroll banking transactions
- Daily/weekly recording of cash
- Assist with ordering office supplies and communicating with vendors
Qualifications:
- 5 years accounting experience or other related fields
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Ability to work with various accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail oriented with attentiveness to deadlines and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Creative thinking.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software and databases
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace, high energy, collaborative environment
- Self-starter and self-supervisor
Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
