BCT is in search of a Systems Engineer to join our clients' growing team. This role requires expertise in wireless access points, DNS, Microsoft Azure, Office 365, SharePoint, and Cisco Meraki hardware (preferred). This position will sit in Dallas, TX, and can either be direct-hire or contract-to-hire.
Salary Offered : $95K depending on candidate experience.

Responsibilities :
Manage and support Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and SharePoint environments.
Configure and program network switches.
Configure and manage wireless access points to ensure seamless connectivity.
Oversee DNS configuration and management.
Ensure the availability and performance of network services, including virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and application virtualization.
Maintain network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki hardware.
Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud services and applications.
Respond to and mitigate security breaches and incidents.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Implement and enforce network security protocols and policies.
Provide operational support for Windows Server and AD.
Install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers, and peripheral equipment.
Configure and maintain system alerting and monitoring.
Communicate technical information to colleagues, executives, and business counterparts.
Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategic IT planning.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's or Associate's degree in information systems or related disciplines desired.
At least 5 years of systems engineering experience required.
Operational knowledge of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and application virtualization.
Advanced knowledge of network & routing protocols and cloud-based applications and environments; specifically, Azure.
Operational knowledge of Windows Server & Active Directory and switch configuration & programming.
Operational knowledge of InfoSec concepts and software.
Familiarity with a variety of networking and personal computer software.
Ability to install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on servers, computers, network, and peripheral equipment.
