Job Summary
Front Desk Administrator in a fast-paced working environment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Basic functions of the role include the following:
- Greet customers
- Answering phones
- Scanning documents/ faxing and receiving faxes/ copy documents/ utilize email systems
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology
- Read and transcribe patient medical charts
- Open and close the office on an as needed basis
- Perform cashier duties – operate credit card machine and process customer payments
- Order lab and drug screening supplies
Develops and maintains strong relationship with existing customers
Imperative that confidentiality be upheld in compliance with HIPAA
Willing to oversee and facilitate in a wide variety of special projects and special reports as assigned.
Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, and work procedures of Employer as assigned.

Relationships:
Internal:
- Office Supervisor – direct report, regarding work performance/goals, vacation requests, attendance issues, any other HR related functions.
External:
- Businesses – maintain a positive relationship with external customers
Physical Requirements:
Position requires physical activities but are not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, finger use, grasping, and hearing, and seeing.
Must be able to exert up to fifty (50) pounds, in the amount of force needed to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stoop, bend, and climb stairs and ladders as required to perform assigned job function.
Ability to view a computer screen for long periods of time.
Manual dexterity for operating computer and other office equipment.
