Business Health Solutions (BHS) provides tailored occupational health services designed to meet the unique needs of our host organizations. Our dedicated professionals staff, operate, and manage on-site clinics that promote workplace safety, employee wellness, and return on investment.
We’re hiring a Registered Nurse (Occupational Health) to join our on-site clinical team. This position plays a vital role in workplace health and safety—providing clinical care, case management, medical surveillance, and emergency response in alignment with BHS’s values of service, excellence, integrity, and humility.
Key Responsibilities:Clinical Care
- Provide triage, first aid, and clinical assessments for work-related injuries or illnesses
- Conduct return-to-work exams, pre-employment and annual physicals
- Support credentialing and screening programs
- Deliver health education and lead clinical projects as needed
Medical Surveillance & Emergency Response
- Manage required surveillance exams and support wellness efforts
- Serve as first-line responder for medical emergencies in the workplace
- Coordinate with external hospitals and providers as needed
Case Management
- Manage cases of work-related and personal injuries
- Advise leadership on injury work-relatedness and coordinate independent medical evaluations
Administrative Tasks
- Maintain clinical documentation and support scheduling, reporting, and general clinic operations
- Active RN license (Indiana)
- BLS Certification (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Occupational Health Nurse Certification (COHN/COHN-S) preferred
- 3-5 years nursing experience; 2 years in occupational health preferred
- Working knowledge of OSHA, FMLA, Workers’ Comp, and other regulations
- Experience with ergonomics, wellness, and health education
- High emotional intelligence and professionalism
- Monday–Friday Day Shift
- On call responsibilities to triage any after hour calls from supervision
