Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects, from initial planning through to successful execution and completion. They ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the appropriate resources to meet client requirements. Additionally, the Project Manager plays a key role in maintaining project profitability while ensuring adherence to quality standards throughout the process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Planning and Defining Scope: Set clear project objectives, define key tasks, and establish the project’s scope.
• Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, such as team members, budget, and materials.
• Time Management: Develop and maintain project timelines to ensure milestones are met on time.
• Communication: Facilitate clear, professional communication as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team members. Organize meetings to support project progress.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and proactively create mitigation strategies.
• Quality Control: Monitor and ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and specifications.
• Billing Management: Support the accounting team by ensuring accurate time tracking, billing adjustments, and handling of change orders. Provide clients with relevant billing reports as needed.
• Procedural Support: Ensure adherence to company procedures throughout the project, from initial implementation to closeout, including conducting lessons learned reviews.
Position Details, Work Environment and Physical Requirements
• Standard office hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm local time zone.
• This is a full-time, salary exempt position.
• This role is remote but may require periodic visits to the corporate office in York, Pennsylvania.
• Travel for this role is moderate.
• Ability to sit for extended periods and use a computer and keyboard for long durations. Frequent typing and use of a mouse, with fine motor skills required for accurate data entry and navigation. Must be able to maintain good posture and adjust seating and workstation to minimize physical strain.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
• Degree in Project Management or equivalent work experience.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience in project management or a related role.
• 1 to 3 years of experience with large software, consulting, and/or technical projects and implementations.
• PMI PMP Certification is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Experience in client account management and customer service.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to understand and explain data analytics, metrics, and report data
• Experience with Microsoft Office required.
• Experience with Project Management tools, Construction Software (i.e. Viewpoint) preferred.
