The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the recruiting cycle for BIG. The duties include the use of various techniques and methods to bring qualified talent to BIG. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will continually develop the hiring process with the Director of Human Resources, including onboarding to meet strategic goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate and manage BIG’s recruiting cycle, primarily focused on technical roles such as Network Engineers, IT Support Technicians, Solutions Architects, and Information Security Analysts.
- Source potential candidates on platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed.
- Represent BIG as an ambassador and advocate to our community, clients, and applicants.
- Facilitate onboarding for all new employees, including pre-employment screening and orientation.
- Schedule and lead new employee check-ins.
- Assist with researching salary standards for all positions.
- Create recruitment reports to ensure HR Recruiting metrics are tracked and achieved.
- Assist in maintaining BIG’s HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
- Stay current with recruiting trends and standards.
- Assist the Director of Human Resources with other projects as assigned.
