The Role & Team:
As a Technical Account Manager you will bring expertise across SSPs, Deal Management, Technical Troubleshooting, and Programmatic Analytics. These pillars will represent a large part of the daily workload and will be key to the success of the Ops team.
This role will be highly visible across the Programmatic Sales team, Ad Ops and Business Ops. There will be cross collaboration between teams on a daily basis and this role will require a deep understanding of the Programmatic landscape. You will be the subject matter expert across various SSPs, industry trends, monetization and reporting.
The Technical Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Programmatic Ops and is a member of the Programmatic Operations team. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:
- PMP Deal Management on a daily basis to ensure successful delivery for brands and sales. This will include, but not limited to, performance reporting, client and SSP partner troubleshooting, strong knowledge of tech stacks including auction dynamics and close collaboration with sales.
- Have the ability to lead an optimization strategy by looking at deal-specific KPIs and present these recommendations to sales and/or the client directly, while also being able to incorporate industry/internal trends into decision making
- Flexibility to accommodate sellers on client-facing meetings when necessary and be a go-to resource for all
- Maintain SSP integrity across vendors to ensure we are running efficiently and at parity across all
- Be able to provide direction based on reporting for the Open Market and know how to look at data to tell a high-level story for a deeper yield analysis
- Analytical mindset; demonstrated proficiency in data analysis using programmatic sell-side metrics, dimensions, and tooling
- Demonstrable knowledge of SSPs (DSPs a plus), reporting tools, deal management, and the programmatic ecosystem
- Previous experience with operating a programmatic tech stack, collaborating closely across an organization (particularly sales), hands-on keyboard experience with PMPs, and reporting for the use of analysis and monetization opportunities
- Communication is key, ability to problem solve effectively, teamwork, and curiosity are vital skills to the role
- Experience in Google Ad Manager (reporting and operational), various SSPs, DoubleVerify (or similar reporting aggregation tools), Looker
- Base salary: $100,000 - $120,000 (dependent on skills, experience, and competencies)
