Business Insider is hiring a VP Analytics, Insights & Research to work closely with our SVP Strategy & Operations on pivotal processes, decisions and strategies that will drive the company’s growth.

The Role & Team
The Strategy & Operations team is responsible for creating and implementing actionable, data-driven initiatives across Business Insider. This team consists of Analytics, Insights & Research and a Project Management Office.
As VP, Analytics, Insights & Research, you will lead and expand the analytics, insights, and research function. You will work cross-functionally to align data strategy with business and editorial objectives, ensuring data integrity, actionable insights and operational excellence.
This role requires a strong in-office presence at our New York City HQ (minimum three days per week, full-time preferred).
The Ideal Candidate
- Extensive experience in analytics and insights within a newsroom environment.
- Deep understanding of the media industry and audience engagement.
- Strong leadership experience in managing analytics teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate complex data into actionable insights for executives and editorial leadership.
Salary & Benefits
- Base Salary: $200,000 - $250,000 (dependent on skills and experience).
