Depot Hangar Fuel Cell Mechanic

Job Description:
- As the Depot Hangar Fuel Cell, F-16 Technician you will be responsible for performing removal, installation, and inspection functions of F-16 aircraft wings and fuel cells in addition to assembly, and installation of components such as fuel lines, hardware, and fittings on various aircraft.
- Maintains F-16 hydrazine systems.
- Diagnoses results of leak test to detect drawing, specification, structural and assembly sealing errors.
- Recommends corrective action necessary to correct deficiencies.
- Services water separators, checks meters for correct delivery and calibration, overhauls system components such as pressure regulating valves and excess valves, disassembles, adjusts, aligns, and calibrates gauges and meters or replaces them, removes and installs equipment such as filters and piping to modify system or repair and replace system component.
- Duties include: cleaning fuel tanks and distribution lines, removing corrosion and repainting surfaces, overhauling vacuum and pressure vents, floating roof seals, hangers, and roof sumps, and maintaining record of inspections and repairs
- Fuel Cell Maintenance Experience on Fighters or other aircraft required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
