What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Technician position at Business Integra Inc?
We are seeking a Client Service Technician to provide IT Support at Joint Base San Antonio, Randolph AFB, San Antonio, TX. The successful candidate will provide timely, proactive, high-quality communications and computer services to each unit/directorate. The contractor shall be responsible for client support to include touch maintenance of user devices, initial problem triage and trouble ticket management. The successful candidate is expected to be a self-starter and able to work independently with limited guidance.
· Provide remote and deskside user support for desktops/laptops, cellular devices, other peripherals, and software.
o Support multiple DoD networks at different classifications (NIPRNET/SIPRNET).
o Diagnose problems and recommend or implement solutions.
o Troubleshoot Windows 11, and Microsoft Teams/Office 365 issues.
o Support Corporately Owned Personally Enabled (COPE) mobile devices (phones/tablets)
· Check system for authorized access to specific networks.
o Applying permissions
o Reset passwords, and creating accounts.
· Complete hardware and software implementation/installations.
· Provide exceptional customer service to users of all ranks and technical proficiency levels.
· Support video teleconference (VTC) setup, operation, and scheduling.
· Interface with external agencies (such as, the Air Force Enterprise Service Desk) to resolve technical issues impacting units/users.
· Provide maintenance and support of software licenses and manage its relationship to the overall system life cycle.
· Aid with IT Asset Management (ITAM) accounts to include equipment inventory, acquisition, shipments, transfers, or turn-ins of excess IT assets.
· Candidates shall have at minimum, two (2) years’ experience in DoD computing environments and associated technology.
o LAN infrastructure, server hardware, software platforms, AF Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC), related support tools, laptops, desktops, VTC equipment and mobile devices.
o Candidates shall have experience in evaluating potential Information Assurance security risks and taking corrective actions.
· Candidates must possess an active Secret clearance.
· Candidates shall possess 8140/8570 IAT Level II Certification IAW 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
