We are seeking a skilled Cutter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting materials to precise specifications using various tools and equipment in a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand cutting requirements
- Operate cutting machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, and other equipment
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accurate cuts
- Utilize micrometers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions
- Work in collaboration with the assembly line to provide cut materials for production
- Weld and assemble cut parts as needed
- Use hand tools effectively to complete cutting tasks
Requirements
- Experience working in a manufacturing facility
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Familiarity with operating cutting machinery like CNC machines and stamping presses
- Knowledge of quality control procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting materials
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 per hour
