- Plans, designs and oversees the construction of expanded facilities.
- Oversees architectural, engineering, and cost estimates, construction plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Obtains and supervises outside contractors.
- Recommends architectural and engineering design procedures and standards for the planning and design of facilities.
- Defines requirements for the detailed design, budgetary costing, standardized construction, and observes final inspection of facility projects as the customer.
- Conducts construction surveillance to ensure adherence to contractual requirements.
Required Skills:
- Experience with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems,
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Experience gathering complex requirements across multiple stakeholders and groups and translate them to actionable requirements for subcontractors.
- Experience with ICD 705 construction standard and other relevant security and regulatory requirements
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, as well as experience with clean dry air and N2 systems
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Ability to gather complex and conflicting requirements from internal stakeholders and translate them into a clear scope of work which subcontractors can execute upon
- Ability to present strategy in a logical manner to varying levels of leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
