Job Title - Field Technician
Duration - 9 Months
Location - White Sands Missile Range, NM
4/10 1st Shift A Schedule is Monday through Thursday 6:00am-4:45pm.
This Technician Field position located on site at the White Sands Missile Range, NM will be supporting all Products produced by client in defense and aerospace industry.
Job Description:
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
- Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
- Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem(s) in minimum time.
- Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change.
- Maintains effective customer communications and relations.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
Basic/Mandatory Requirements:
- High School Diploma (BS not required)
- Technician with previous hands on experience
- Previous experience with Mechanical Assembly in Aerospace systems
- Previous experience with Electrical Test Equipment
- Experience working with Standard Procedures
- Experience with Critical Test Equipment (Mechanical or Electrical)
- Experience with Explosives a plus (This position will not be exposed to explosives, the Manager is simply looking for someone who has experience working with explosives).
