Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The Nursing Assistant will provide direct patient care and support healthcare professionals in delivering exceptional medical services.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs accurately
- Assist in the mobility of patients and transfer them using appropriate techniques
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Follow care plans and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
- Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dementia care, hospitals, or medical settings is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, systems, and medical-surgical practices
- Understanding of anatomy and medical documentation
- Ability to assist with medication administration
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems like Cerner is a plus
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.71 - $25.03 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
