Title: Military Vehicle Technician
Location: Huntsville, AL
Duration: 12 months -extension possibility
Work Schedule: 4/10-1st Shift
Job Description:
- Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
- Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems. Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
- Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
- Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
- Exclude technicians working in production or quality assurance.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Familiar with gasoline and diesel engines.
- Troubleshooting skills on vehicles.
- Familiar with Redstone Arsenal, AL operations.
- Familiar with engine and diesel engines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Preferred experience working on Military Bradley vehicles, HIMARS, MLRS, HUMVEE, HEMIT.
- Diesel mechanic working on Bulldozers and/or Large Diesel Engines.
- Preferred experience working on gasoline and/or diesel engines.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $28.40 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- Military vehicle repair: 5 years (Required)
