- Monday & Wednesday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Tuesday & Thursday: 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least two years of relevant experience in admitting, medical office, managed care, insurance, or customer service preferred.
- Strong proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing in English; multilingual skills are a plus.
- Ability to accurately interpret and utilize medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Proficiency in data entry and the use of computerized systems.
- Experience in using and troubleshooting basic office equipment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with nursing staff, patients, families, physicians, and hospital personnel in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated competence in basic computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in fundamental secretarial tasks, including typing, filing, and telephone communication.
- Ability to multitask and manage complex processes effectively.
- Strong decision-making skills, particularly under pressure.
- Must exhibit sound judgment, diplomacy, teamwork, and a customer service-oriented approach.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
