Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse - Telemetry to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a telemetry unit, monitoring patients with cardiac conditions and ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient progress and changes in condition.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Assist in sterile processing of medical instruments as needed.
- Conduct basic life support procedures when necessary.
- Participate in diagnostic evaluations to assess patient needs.
- Support family planning initiatives by providing relevant information and resources.
- Utilize knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation of diagnoses.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Familiarity with esthetic laser treatment is a plus.
- Proficiency in medical office procedures and practices.
- Knowledge of neonatal ventilator operation is desirable.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,349.00 - $2,500.00 per week
