Business Integra is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist with a strong Risk Management Framework (RMF) background to join our Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) team . In this role, you will ensure the security and compliance of DoD systems by leading Assessment & Authorization (A&A) efforts to achieve and maintain Authorizations to Operate (ATO). You will also contribute to aligning policies and procedures with DTIC-approved RMF processes.
Job Summary : Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and protection needs.
- Develop, update, and review RMF documentation, including Security Plans, Implementation Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and Risk Assessment Reports.
- Evaluate system compliance with NIST 800-53 controls, DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Requirements Guides (SRGs).
- Participate in working groups to address evolving RMF and cybersecurity policies.
- Attend A&A status meetings to report on progress and resolve challenges.
- Stay updated on security standards and integrate updates into existing processes.
- Collaborate with system subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop authorization boundary diagrams, architecture diagrams, and hardware / software inventories.
- Provide evidence to demonstrate compliance with DoD, DTIC, and NIST security requirements.
- Support system administrators and engineers in refining policies, procedures, and process documentation.
- Submit detailed weekly reports on system / program status to DTIC leadership.
