Job Summary
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at our facility, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care. You will work closely with healthcare teams to assess patients, implement care plans, and ensure optimal outcomes for those under your supervision.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans
- Provide direct patient care in various settings such as acute care, long-term care, and geriatric facilities
- Assist in emergency medicine situations and respond promptly to medical emergencies
- Perform specialized procedures like gastric lavage, neonatal ventilator management, and dementia care
- Utilize electronic health record systems like Cerner to document patient information accurately
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in the state of practice
- Experience in diverse healthcare settings including Level I Trauma Centers, acute care, long-term care, and geriatrics
- Proficiency in managing complex medical equipment such as neonatal ventilators
- Strong understanding of vital signs monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with providing specialized care like dementia care and gastric lavage
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams

Pay: $38.00 - $43.00 per hour
