Job Summary
The Patient Registrar is responsible for providing exceptional patient service by accurately registering patients into the clinic's system. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process for all patients.
Duties
- Greet and assist patients during the registration process
- Enter patient information accurately into the Meditech system
- Verify insurance information and update patient records as needed
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document patient details
- File and maintain patient records in an organized manner
- Perform 10 key typing for data entry tasks
- Assist with general administrative duties in the medical office
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient registration procedures are followed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred
- Proficiency in Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and office management practices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and professionalism
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $20.47 - $23.00 per hour
