Qualifications
- Proficiency in medical terminology and ICD-9 coding
- Experience in front desk operations within a medical setting
- Knowledge of medical insurance processes, including Medicare
- Familiarity with medical billing, collections, and office procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
