Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. Position Title: Q2C Process Business Analyst
Overview: As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding the business needs of various departments within the organization and translating them into technical requirements. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, and then collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions. Your role will involve facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams, identifying opportunities for process improvement, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of IT solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
a. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives, processes, data, and requirements.
b. Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather comprehensive requirements.
c. Analyze and prioritize requirements, identifying dependencies and potential risks.
2. Documentation:
a. Document business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.
b. Create clear and concise documentation to facilitate communication between business and technical teams.
c. Maintain documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
d. Support documentation and training materials to support end users.
3. Solution Design Participation:
a. Provide overview of business requirements so technical teams can document technical specifications.
b. Participate in solution design discussions, providing insights and recommendations.
c. Ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical capabilities.
4. Participate in Testing and Validation: Assisting in the testing of new systems and processes to ensure they meet the required standards and deliver the expected benefits.
5. Relationship Management:
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant parties.
b. Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams, facilitating communication and understanding.
c. Manage expectations and ensure alignment between business goals and IT solutions.
6. Process Improvement:
a. Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
b. Propose changes to enhance efficiency, quality, and effectiveness.
c. Continuously monitor and evaluate IT solutions to identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
· Proven experience as a business analyst in IT projects or similar roles.
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
· Proficiency in requirements gathering and analysis techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
· Experience with business process modeling, data analysis, and solution design.
· Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
· Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
· Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
· Experience with specific technologies, systems, or domains relevant to the organization (e.g., ERP systems, CRM systems, healthcare IT).
· Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, ITIL).
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $44.09 - $48.79 per hour
