POSITION SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst will play a critical role in driving business performance by providing comprehensive financial support and strategic insights. Responsibilities include analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, preparing timely reports on financial performance and projections, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and assisting in meeting key financial requirements essential to business success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand from a financial perspective the needs of the IT department.
- This area requires analyzing IT financial data, providing insights for decision-making, and managing IT infrastructure costs
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by accurately preparing and filing all necessary state and local tax forms with the appropriate jurisdictions in a timely manner
- Responsible for analyzing and improving the monthly financials during the closing process
- Maintain and improve company-wide cost allocations that align with the company’s financial framework to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the closing process
- Responsible for creating, analyzing, and interpreting financial reports for various audiences including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as well as ad-hoc report requests which includes standard balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other reports as needed
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive cashflow forecast to ensure liquidity and financial stability
- Assist in a structured and effective budget process that enhances financial planning, ensures resource allocation aligns with strategic goals, and supports overall business performance
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or;
- Additional equivalent experience above the required minimum may substitute for education
- Financial Modeling & Analysis: Strong understanding of financial concepts, forecasting methods, and data-driven decision-making.
- Accounting & Reporting: Familiarity with GAAP, IFRS, and financial statement analysis.
- Business & Industry Trends: Awareness of economic conditions, market trends, and industry-specific financial drivers.
- Technology & Automation: Experience with financial systems like Oracle, NetSuite, Power BI, and automation tools.
- Remote Collaboration Tools: Proficiency in virtual communication platforms like Zoom, Teams, and cloud-based project management tools.
- Data Analytics & Visualization: Ability to interpret complex data, use Power Query/Pivot, and present insights clearly.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Strong skills in financial planning, variance analysis, and strategic resource allocation.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to identify financial risks, opportunities, and recommend solutions.
- Communication & Storytelling: Expertise in translating financial data into compelling narratives for stakeholders.

- Extensive Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience in the following platforms is a plus: Vena Solutions, Bill.com, BambooHR, Smartsheets
- 0-2 years of FP&A related experience preferred.
- Familiar with Oracle technologies, including SmartView, NetSuite, Oracle Cloud ERP, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services (PBCS) and Power Query/Power Pivot preferred
