A well-recognized landscape firm based in the New York City area is looking for a well qualified Landscaping Foreman to specialize in the installation and maintenance of exterior softscapes. Join a team that has been setting industry standards for over 50 years!

Responsibilities

• Understand the job responsibilities for each day and prepare crews accordingly.
• Schedule and monitor crews daily through tracking software.
• Carefully oversee the loading and unloading of trucks with tools and equipment for the day’s assignment.
• Operate landscape equipment and machinery.
• Ensure Crews are operating efficiently.
• Train crew members on proper techniques for planting, pruning, edging, and other landscaping tasks.
• Manage all phases of landscape installation and projects.
• Execute planting plans as per architectural drawings.
• Install plants efficiently.
• Ability to quantify material effectively, and work within time constraints.
• Complete projects from conception to completion.
• Manage crews in a way that achieves maximum productivity. Typically 3 crews of 3 people each.
