Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee landscape construction projects, including hardscape (footings, masonry, pavers, brickwork, retaining walls, patios) and softscape (elevation work, grading, drainage, and water management)
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and scopes of work
- Manage on-site crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality workmanship and on-time completion
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, local codes, and permit requirements
- Coordinate material procurement and delivery
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design plans
- Identify and resolve project challenges proactively
- Maintain strong communication with clients, designers, and stakeholders
- Provide accurate project reporting and updates to senior management
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in landscape construction, including hardscape and softscape projects
- Strong knowledge of hardscape practices (masonry, pavers, retaining walls, footings)
- Deep understanding of softscape techniques (grading, land movement, drainage, and water management)
- Proficiency with construction project management software (e.g., BuilderTrend, Procore, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and site plans
- Experience in creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and scopes
- Familiarity with local codes, permits, and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Certified Landscape Professional (CLP) or similar--preferred
- OSHA 30-hour certification—preferred
- ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) certification—preferred
- Erosion and Sediment Control Certification—preferred
- Experience with site surveying and resource allocation—preferred
- $70,000 - $90,000 salary
