Responsibilities
- Assist in the growth and development of the company and the Commercial Landscape Maintenance Division
- Build and maintain relationships with commercial clients.
- Prospect and develop relationships with new clients
- Meet the goals of the company, customers, and other employees
- Maintain and promote a safe work environment
- Develop and train a team of highly motivated and quality-oriented Account Managers and field individuals
- Responsible for scheduling crews, sales, and overall performance of the department
- Continuously improve and promote a positive company image with clients, employees, vendors, and the general public
- Full participation in snow removal is also required
- Work hand-in-hand with other Production Managers, Accounting Managers, Supervisors, and Crew Members
- Other responsibilities as necessary to support and advance the company's objectives
Requirements
- Knowledge of or formal training in maintenance practices, personnel administration, horticulture, sales, and marketing
- Four-year degree in Landscape Horticulture / Management and 2 years continuous experience in landscaping OR 4 years continuous service performing duties as described
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a supervisory position
- Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skill
- Basic computer skills
- A safe driving record
- Obtain an IPM certification within 1 year
- Have a C.P.H. certification within 2 years
- Obtain a C.L.T. certification within 2 years
- Understand the basic principles of estimating and production management
- Ability to prospect and develop relationships with potential customers
- Ability to write and present proposals
- Ability to promote and present a positive company image.
Compensation
- Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 / year BOE
- Seven paid holidays
