Director of IT Solutions

Business Technology Integrators, headquartered in Suburban Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced Director of IT Solutions to join our Corporate Team.

Job Summary:

The Director of IT Solutions is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and management of technology solutions that align with the organization's business goals. This role will oversee IT strategy, infrastructure, application development, and innovation to drive operational efficiency and business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across departments to deliver high-quality IT solutions. The candidate must also have extensive experience in IT infrastructure management and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the IT solutions strategy in alignment with the organization's objectives.
• Lead and manage teams responsible for software development, system integration, infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
• Oversee the evaluation, selection, and implementation of new technologies, ensuring they meet business needs and compliance standards.
• Work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams to identify technology opportunities and drive digital transformation.
• Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of IT systems and applications.
• Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contract negotiations to optimize costs and service quality.
• Establish best practices, policies, and governance frameworks for IT operations and project management.
• Monitor emerging technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to maintain competitive advantage.
• Lead change management efforts and provide training and support to ensure smooth technology adoption.
• Oversee IT service delivery, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and manage IT infrastructure strategies, including network architecture, cloud services, data centers, and cybersecurity.
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10 years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on IT solutions and strategy.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience with software development methodologies, system integrations, and IT service management frameworks (ITIL, Agile, DevOps).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive complex IT projects to successful completion.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, and IT governance frameworks.
  

Preferred Certifications:

• PMP (Project Management Professional)
• ITIL Certification
• AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Certification
• CISSP or CISM (for cybersecurity expertise)
