What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chemical / Process Engineer position at Business Technology Solutions?
Our client in Providence, RI is seeking a Chemical / Process Engineer to work as part of a multi disciplinary team and under the direction of Senior Engineers. The Chemical / Process Engineer will be responsible for preparing Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Material and Energy balances, Equipment Sizing calculations and specifications, and other general Engineering calculations and documents.
To be considered, you must have:
Formal Chemical / Process Engineering experience
Experience developing PFDs, P&IDs, M&E balances, equipment sizing calculations and specifications, and other general Engineering calculations and documents
Willingness to learn and work under the guidance of more Senior Engineers and in a team oriented setting
Solid verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a multi discipline team as well as with clients
BS degree in Chemical or Biomedical Engineering
Pluses include any Life Science, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical experience
