Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering & installing copy machines to our customers in a timely and professional manner. You will also provide basic training on the use of the machines and ensure that all installations meet the company's high standards of service. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience with various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans. Your ability to navigate efficiently and maintain a positive attitude will be key to ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
- You will be training in troubleshooting and repairing the equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, installations, and service calls; complete necessary paperwork and reports as required.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is an advantage.
- Ability to operate delivery vehicles safely, including box trucks and vans, as well as equipment like pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 250 lbs and perform manual tasks throughout the day.
