Duties:
- Maintaining a coherent system of accounts with supporting filing systems
- A/P and recording invoices
- A/R issuing invoices and collection efforts
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Maintain accuracy of general ledger
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements
- 401K transmittal and distribution via TPA
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Recording financial transactions using double-entry bookkeeping principles
- Preparing and posting journal entries
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations
- Generating financial reports and statements as needed
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks) to perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently and accurately
- Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) in all financial transactions and reporting
