Irrigation Repair Technician

Busy Bee Lawn Care & Sprinkler Repair, inc is Seeking Sprinkler Repair Technicians!

You would commute to West Columbia to go to work every day OR we give you the company truck to take home and service mainly Northeast Columbia Accounts...I'm reaching out to Camden Area to see if there are any hard working technicians out that way!

We are seeking skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. If you do not have irrigation REPAIR experience as a professional, please do not apply. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing all types of systems, mostly residential, particularly low voltage wiring, solenoid wire tracing, control panel diagnostics, low water pressure solutions, light plumbing, replacing sprinkler heads and valves and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure the proper watering of landscapes and lawns. You will have direct involvement with the customer as this is a service technician job.

Duties:
- REPAIR irrigation systems including pipes, valves, and timers
- Install Irrigation systems and add zones (mostly through slow season we take on installs)

- Adding zones to existing systems using ground saw or trencher
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with irrigation systems, low voltage experience is a MUST
- Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs and customer's input
- Operate hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
- Dig trenches for irrigation system installation or zone additions or running wire
- system tune ups

Requirements:
- You must display and prove Experience in irrigation systems installation and maintenance. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A SPRINKLER TECH, YOU COULD QUALIFY, BUT YOU'D HAVE TO HAVE A HIGH LEVEL OF HANDYMAN EXPERIENCE.
- Knowledge of basic horticulture and landscaping
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools proficiently
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems related to irrigation
- Capability to work in various weather conditions including summer heat and winter cold (we don't require you work in the rain)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and technical skills where iphones are concerned
- Physical ability to dig, do physical labor, etc...
- Familiarity with lawn care practices
- Previous experience in landscape construction, anything landscaping related
- Mechanical knowledge for system troubleshooting and repairs

Pay: $1,600.00 - $3,500.00 per week

• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:
