Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily curriculum and activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Support classroom management by helping to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Facilitate small group activities focused on literacy education, math, and physical education.
- Communicate effectively with students to encourage participation and engagement in learning activities.
- Adapt lessons as needed to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special requirements.
- Collaborate with teachers on curriculum development and classroom organization.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the classroom environment.
Experience
- Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including Montessori methods, is a plus.
- Familiarity with literacy education strategies and classroom management techniques is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
- A background in physical education or math education can enhance the learning experience for students.
