What will you be doing?
As an Assistant Director , you will work with the Center Director, teachers, and families to provide a home away from home for children in our care, according to NAEYC guidelines. Responsibilities include :
- Ensuring the safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks - 12 years.
- Ensuring that all staff members understand the objectives and expectations within each classroom.
- Assisting the Center Director with adherence to child care licensing requirements as well as internal policies of the company.
- Handling administrative duties within the center office.
- Substituting as Center Director in the event of their absence.
- Providing effective communication with parents / guardians about their child.
