Butcher & Bee is a vegetable driven, middle-eastern inspired restaurant in East Nashville that opened in 2015. We value community and hospitality above all else - extending it to our customers, co-workers, suppliers, and neighbors. We're seeking an experienced bartender to join our team!
***This is a PART TIME POSITION. OPEN AVAILABILITY WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY.***
Bartenders at Butcher & Bee craft the guest experience from beginning to end. They're knowledgeable about their products and are detail-oriented, putting care into every espresso shot pulled and each drink poured. Responsibilities include limited beverage R&D, preparing ingredients for craft beverages, wine and beer knowledge/education, specialty coffee and espresso creation, and building both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders assist FOH with guest service, maintain organization and cleanliness of the service bar, and assist with to-go orders.
REQUIREMENTS, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Previous restaurant experience of 2 years
- Previous bartending and/or barista experience preferred
- Must be available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays (We are closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas)
- Organized, quick thinking, adept at multitasking
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain focus and upbeat demeanor in fast-paced environment
