Deli Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Duties

• Prepare and serve deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches, following company recipes and standards.
• Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and utensils.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the freshness and quality of all products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Perform basic math calculations for portioning and pricing items.
• Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service settings is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Experience with POS systems is beneficial but not mandatory.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
