About the Role
The Provost will serve as the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) at Butler Academy, working closely with the President and VP of Operations to drive academic excellence. Key responsibilities include leading the creation, design, and execution of the academic vision and model, establishing effective systems for teacher development and support, and ensuring alignment with the Academy's mission and values.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the Academic Team: Supervise and develop the team of Lower, Middle and Upper School Deans of Academics, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to deliver high-quality education.
- Develop Teaching and Learning Systems: Design and implement effective data-driven systems to inform instruction and improve scholar outcomes. Collaborate with the President to establish the academic model and instructional approach.
- Establish Educator Development Systems: Create and facilitate professional learning opportunities for educators, focusing on content knowledge, pedagogy, and leadership skills. Develop and deliver training programs to support network-wide growth.
- Collaborate with Network Leadership: Work closely with the President and other senior leaders to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic priorities and goals.
