Butler Academy is seeking a highly qualified Director of Curriculum and Instructional Excellence to join our senior leadership team. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing curriculum that aligns with our vision and goals.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in curriculum development, program design, and pedagogy, as well as experience in coaching and mentoring instructional leaders. They will be able to develop and implement effective instructional strategies to improve student outcomes and foster a culture of equity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with Butler Academy's vision and goals;
- Coach and mentor instructional leaders to improve teaching and learning;
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement instructional strategies;
- Analyze data to inform instructional decisions and develop effective strategies to improve student outcomes;
- Lead, facilitate, and plan professional development opportunities for teachers;
Qualifications:
We are looking for a results-oriented, determined leader with a strong track record of academic excellence. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, expertise in curriculum development, program design, and/or pedagogy, and a demonstrable commitment to pursuing equity.
