Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assembler to perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. The successful candidate will work from diagrams and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools, jigs, and saws.
Main Responsibilities
* Performs continuity checks on work in process and completed.* Conducts quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.* Disassembles, modifies, reworks, reassembles, and tests experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.* Performs fabrication or modification tasks on micro-integrated circuit modules and sub-assemblies.* Performs disassembly, assembly, modification, rework, and repair operations on various pre-production subassemblies, assemblies, and complete systems that utilize integrated circuit technology.
Requirements
* Previous experience in electronics/microelectronics assembly.* Ability to work 10 hours under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers, tweezers, and other similar instruments.* Good dexterity and eye/hand coordination.* Ability to read and work from detailed process sheets and drawings.* Good computer skills are required to support retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities.* Active secret clearance preferred, willing to consider candidates with a previously held active clearance. Interim secret clearance required to start position.
Desired Skills
* Familiarity working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.* Experience in mechanical assembly processes of small electronic devices.* Experience working on military products in ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.* Ability to work with minimal supervision.* Ability to work in a team environment; good interpersonal, teaming, and communication skill.* Experience with Adhesives and Epoxies.
