Job Description
- The Account Manager / Sales Manager Digital & Engineering Solutions leads day-to-day sales activity, services assigned accounts while building the funnel to meet sales objectives
- This position reports to the Senior Vice-President of Sales
Responsibilities
The Account Manager / Sales Manager will :
Create and utilize best laid out marketing approach to both assigned and new clientsSelf-generate leads through research and initial contact eventually introducing leadership to drive closure on deal successEstablish and build a trusted advisor and credible business and technical consultant relationship with clients and sales executivesLead the sales process from customer identification through contract including proposal management and pricingWork with Engineering, Recruiting and Finance teams to accomplish business goalsMeet or exceed sales goals including revenue, bookings and margin targets.Manage account post-sale to maintain customer satisfactionProvide through proper channels voice of the customer insight on market, products, and opportunitiesMaintain a sales pipeline and accurate forecastsDevelop a strong high-level knowledge of the entire of digital enterprise product design and manufacturing portfolioTravel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationshipsWork on strategic opportunities with BAA's parent company, HCL Technologies (209,000 employees in 50 countries)Work in a culture of success and ongoing business and goal achievementEducation & Experience Requirements
Engineering Degree or Degree in Business Administration, Sales and MarketingAt least 3 years in a sales / account management role (experience in selling digital solutions a plus)Must be highly self-motivated, high energy, and strong interpersonal skillsStrong Business acumenMust be able to travel 30% of the timeMust be US-CitizenWork location : Remote or Hybrid Remote / Office (Arlington TX, West Lafayette IN, or Shelton CT offices)Qualifications
Excellent understanding of the Aerospace and Defense industryMust be able to "hunt", generate, qualify leads and "farm" existing onesMust know how to construct a sales account plan of attackAbility to identify decision-makers and build strong relationships with customersExcellent communication and presentation skills; must be dynamic in presenting ideas to clients and prospective clientsSelf-starter, motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervisionMentality of a "Closer"Must be open to an average of 30% travel, almost exclusively domesticProven record of ability to present engineering and technology solutions in front of groups while incorporating specific selling techniquesCross-cultural relationHigh proficiency in Microsoft OfficeWe are looking to add strong candidates, passionate about Aerospace and Defense that contribute to our culture and are eager to grow and develop their careers with us.

Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
